The Little League Division championship for District 29 will be decided in a best-of-three series between Zone A champion Sinton and Zone B champion Refugio.
The three-game series is set to be played at the Benny Diegal Complex inside Live Oak Park in Ingleside. Game 1 of the series will be played at 7 p.m. June 23, while first pitch for Game 2 is slated for 7 p.m. on June 24. The third game of the series, if necessary, will be played June 25 at 7 p.m.
Sinton swept through the Zone A bracket, beating Rockport-Fulton 14-4 in the zone championship. Sinton previously beat Banquete 21-6, Rockport-Fulton 9-1 and Mathis 13-0 in the tournament.
Refugio went unscathed through the Zone B bracket, besting Ingleside 6-3 in the title tilt. Refugio opened the tournament with a 1-0 win over Odem, then beat George West 10-0 before knocking off Ingleside 8-0 to reach the zone championship game.
The winner of the best-of-three series advances to the sectional tournament.
